As a non-profit organization we do not collect very much data at all. We only collect basic information about our website visitors through Google Analytics. We DO NOT collect any information that can personally identify any of our visitors.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, (except they cannot change their username) Per this Privacy Policy. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. Visitor comments are always checked through an automated spam detection service. Aside from the spam service if you ordered any products through this site the third party administering the sale has the information they collected in relation to your purchase, or if you made a $5 dollar donation that goes through Paypal and they have the information about you pertinent to the Donation transaction you made.

Aside from Google Analytics tracking and the cookies from comment or contact forms and possibly some of the third party ads because of a possible commission or spiff we may receive. That is one of the ways we pay for this site and we truly appreciate you and the third party advertisers. We try to literally put every dollar towards the Seniors, Caregiver’s and the Pre-sene’s we help. No one who works for SO.M. collects a check, EVER. This is 100% volunteer work. we do it because we want to, not because we get an award or monetary compensation.

We do not do any Decision Making or profiling in regards to any of our web guests at any time ever. If this changes in the future there will be the proper disclosure made in this Privacy Policy as well as the other conspicuous and necessary places throughout this site.

We are currently not subject to any Industry Regulatory Disclosure Requirements aside from the ones we’ve made in this Privacy Policy. Senior Outreach Ministries achieves it’s objectives with the capital we’ve either earned or received from donors. The Proud 2 B A Senior Ribbon for example. Donate $5, get a ribbon and help us help a hungry Senior Citizen in need. All proceeds remain in the Ministries to be used per our mission statement. We are a volunteer church. No one receives a salary or wage. Please help us help less fortunate hungry Seniors. We never have and never will ask the government for grants, funds or hand outs. Thank You in advance.
